- I am a relational integrative therapist.
- My hope is that our relationship will develop into a comfortable yet professional place where you can be yourself and that you experience that I am genuine in wanting to help you to make your own choices about your life and concerns.
- I work in an integrative way which means I tailor my approach to each individual using several distinct models of counselling including The Integrative Theory of Self.
- The term "integrative" as it is used in our approach to integrative psychotherapy has a number of meanings. - Primarily it refers to the process of integrating the personality, which includes helping clients to become aware of and assimilate the contents of their fragmented and fixated ego states into an integrated neopsychic ego, to develop a sense of self that decreases the need for defense mechanisms and a life script, and to reengage the world and relationships with full contact.
- It is the process of making whole: taking disowned, unaware, unresolved aspects of the ego and making them part of a cohesive self.
- I believe that all human behavior has meaning in some context and I would support you to find out what that meaning is for you.

- As a Reiki practitioner.
- I decided to name my Reiki practice “Pollyanna Reiki” as my personal spiritual journey began a number of years ago, when I lived on a canal boat which was named Pollyanna.
- Pollyanna became a vessel in which my transition into a spiritual place, began to grow rapidly, which is ironic given that canal boats are very slow in pace.
- However, it is in the stillness that healing occurs Reiki allows you to have the time to "just be" to connect to the universal energy and to be healed to your highest and greatest good.
- Pollyanna Reiki can offer you peace, tranquility and healing.
- My treatment room is only used for Reiki Healing, Counselling and Psychotherapy.
